Yikes! What a ride it has been, but we are so thankful!

Disclaimer: We would not recommend beginning "your story" when you are 13 and 15. But hey! Here we are.

Colin and Maddie first met by the middle school drinking fountain at Ashland Christian School when, in passing, Maddie's friend Ella said, "Hi, Mark!" to Colin. Maddie and Ella giggled and walked away as they were headed to music class. Colin and Mark were the two new kids at the school, and Maddie and Ella didn't know which one was which.

Two years later, Colin was still thinking about Maddie. While Maddie had graduated from ACS and was now at Genesis, Colin still couldn't get her off his mind. She had been Snapchatting Mark (who was best friends with Colin). Mark was under the impression that Maddie liked him.. *that was definitely not the case at all*. Mark was telling Colin this. Colin replied, "Hey! give me her snap, and I'll see if she talks to me the same way." And the rest is history.
